Lady Selkie

My first historical romance is set in England at the very start of the Edwardian age. Here is a very brief introduction:

A beautiful woman is washed up on a remote English shore. She has no memory of who she is or how she came to be in the icy waters. Her rescuer, Lord Ashton, gives her the name Lady Selkie, after the magical seal women in local folklore. They struggle with their passion in the face of uncertain circumstances. When Lady Selkie rediscovers her identity Lord Ashton must overcome his fear of scandal and find a way to heal a spirit bruised by past cruelties.

I'm working on a couple of shorter "quickies". 

One is set in a fantasy world of snow and ice, which pits a young man and woman against both the elements and strict gender roles... leading to some unexpected heat.

The other is a science fiction story that explores a dangerous new form of space travel at the same time as one woman is finding some new personal boundaries.



I love historicals and I love vampire stories so I’ve decided to combine the two in an upcoming novel. The plot is still twisting its way through my brain and you'll have to wait for the teaser!
